Unlike the small town that fans have grown accustomed to exploring in the series’ past works, this new setting is completely new from the inside out, and the entire psychological horror atmosphere has shifted to a new location and taken root there. The island is shrouded in thick, unbroken fog, its streets are empty of any people, eerie analog signals flicker into view from time to time, and a buried past comes together piece by piece to unearth a horrifying secret. As you explore the island, these scattered clues will not be dumped in front of you all at once; they will only emerge gradually, ripping open a crack in the terrifying secret hidden beneath the island little by little.

This game is developed by Screen Burn Interactive, a studio previously known as No Code. From what we can see now, Silent Hill: Townfall will be one of the most stylistically bold entries in the entire series. It brings a brand new story setting, players will explore the world from a first-person perspective, and the protagonist is also an all-new character, Simon Ordell. The game also features a strange portable television, which is the core item for players during their exploration. As you search the island for clues and push the story forward, this unassuming small television will remain the indispensable key to unravelling the mysteries.
